Biography :
Thelma Owen has had a long and successful career as a professional harpist.
After gaining a degree in music at Surrey University, she continued her studies in Paris She then went on to play with all the major symphony orchestras in London including many years as Principal Harp of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
She now devotes most of her time to teaching the harp from her home in Finchley. She also teaches at University College School in Hampstead and the Royal Academy of Music.
She is happy to teach all ages and abilities.
