Biography :
Cambridge University and Royal Academy graduate, Eli is an experienced and accomplished violinist who considers teaching to be a privilege. She has performed all over the world in chamber and symphony orchestras and in such major venues as St John’s Smith Square, l’Archeveche Aix-en-Provence, the Barbican, Royal Albert Hall and the Wigmore Hall. Whilst at Cambridge Eli led several University orchestras and established her own quartet. During her time at university and the Royal Academy she took part in masterclasses with the Fitzwilliam String Quartet, Sergei Fatkoulin, Remus Azoitei, Richard Deakin, Levon Chilingirian and David Strange. On leaving music college she played for a number of years for the European Union Chamber Orchestra and the orchestra of St Paul’s. She has worked with Sir Simon Rattle, Sir Mark Elder and Sir Andrew Davies among others.

Eli also teaches singing, Music theory and coaches in academic Music preparation for GCSE and A level. She has taught within schools and privately for some years now and appreciates that every student is different and can require distinct types of attention. Eli is passionate about and has always thoroughly enjoyed teaching.
